DEACON JOHN & SEMINARIANS FROM OL MORAN and FROM VENICE
Deacon John Kariuki is one of the four new Deacons ordained at Nyahururu on Saturday 5th July 2025. He comes from Magumu Parish, and he served at Ol Moran as a Seminarian from January to June of this year. Today he has come to Ol Moran to celebrate together with us the gift of his ordination as a Deacon.
In the same Mass, we have also celebrated the vocations of some other young men, who have served together at the Altar for this occasion, as they conclude their holiday and prepare to go back to studies:
– Two Seminarians: Lawrence Kariuki, from Mithuri Local Church, at the 9th year at St. Matthias Tindinyo Major Seminary, and Stephen Maina, from Kabati LC, at the 3rd year at St. Augustine Bungoma Major Seminary.
– Two new Seminarians were also officially announced today, who will join the Seminary coming August: John Gathogo, from Kabati LC, going to St Mary Molo, and Brian Njoroge, from Ol Moran LC, going to Christ the King Nyeri.
– Seminarians Niccolo’, Christian, Andres and Raphael, at the 4th year at the Seminary of Venice, Italy, currently at Ol Moran for a period of 2 month formation.
– Postulant Calvin Bosire, from Miharati LC, on 3rd year of formation in the Congregation of Fransiscans.
– Two students at the Catechetical Training Centre of Nyeri: Mr. Gideon Erot, from Mbombo LC, and Mr. Andrew Mwangi from Ol Moran LC.
As we thank God for these vocations, we continue praying for them and for more young people who accept to dedicate their life to the service of the Church.
